PRIVACY POLICY FOR

With this Privacy Policy, EGIS ROAD OPERATION CROATIA d.o.o. from Zagreb, Marticeva 47, (hereinafter referred to as EGIS) protects the privacy of its Users – website visitors
www.egis.hr and expresses concern for their personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679/EC (Regulation) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation NN 42/2018 (Act). Privacy policy EGIS based on cl.13. The regulations transparently and publicly disclose the ways in which the processing of personal data is carried out exclusively according to the Principles of the Regulation.
EGIS ROAD OPERATION CROATIA d.o.o. in Croatia acts as a company Operator i.e. Manager on The Highway Zagreb Macelj (A2). Pursuant to the Contract on the management and maintenance of the Zagreb-Macelj motorway, the obligations of management and maintenance, and toll collection in the name and for the account of the Concession Company Autocesta Zagreb Macelj d.o.o. on the a2 motorway in question have been transferred to us. The Privacy Policy towards Motorway Users as the personal data processing manager is published by the Concession Company on its website www.azm.hr.
1. Personal data and processing of personal data
Personal data are any data relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”), and an identifiable natural or identifiable natural person or data subject is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly.
Processing is any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, harmonization or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
2. Collection of personal data
EGIS collects personal data that the data subject provides of his or her own volition. The data is collected in the following ways:
- Sending electronic mail to EGIS e-mail addresses
- Personal contact with EGIS employees
Personal data are collected and processed only for certain purposes communicated to users – data subjects and are not further processed in a way that is not in accordance with the purpose for which they were collected, unless otherwise prescribed by law or based on the user’s consent.
3. Purpose and legal basis for the processing of personal data:
- Visitors to the website www. www.egis.hr and personal contact The delivery of data is required for the purpose of responding to inquiries and complaints by sending electronic mail to one of the e-mail addresses or by personal contact with EGIS employees. The legal basis for this purpose is the legitimate interest of EGIS and/or Users. Some data is collected automatically – you can read more in the web cookies section. Personal data collected for the purpose of responding to inquiries and complaints are kept until the end of the inquiry or complaint proceedings, except in cases where the evidence is in court, administrative, arbitration or other proceedings.
4. Insight into personal data, transfer to third countries
Personal data are used exclusively for the purposes stated above and will be available to external processors with whom EGIS has concluded Contracts in the processing process. External executors are renowned organizations from the EU that EGIS hires to perform outsourced functions, e.g. bookkeeping, IT support, consulting and legal services.
In addition, based on legal obligations, personal data will be provided to representatives of competent authorities (e.g. police, courts, AZOP…), based on a written request.
Personal data is not transferred to third countries, in accordance with the Regulation and the Law.
5. Security of personal data
Personal data will be stored and processed within the legal deadline and protected by adequate security measures. Backups are created for all data.
All personal data are protected by adequate technical and organizational measures from unauthorized insight, alteration, loss, theft, i.e. any other infringement and abuse involving:
- Obligation of all external data processors and all recipients to protect the user’s personal data through appropriate contracts or contractual clauses
- The application of the Principle of Minimization, i.e. reducing the amount of collection and processing of personal data
- Application of the Principle of Transparency, i.e. adequate information to data subjects regarding the processing of their personal data
- Carrying out regular controls of security and personal data protection measures
6. Web cookies:
Websites
www.egis.hr use web cookies. The information collected in this way may contain personal data and serve to improve the functioning of the site and improve the user experience. When visiting the website, the user may give or deny his consent to use them.
7. Rights of data subjects:
EGIS provides conditions for the User to decide on the processing of his personal data. First of all, the following rights are enabled:y
– the right of access to data, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
In fulfilling the above rights, the User may request:

If the User considers that the processing of his personal data is contrary to the General Data Protection Regulation, he has the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For the territory of the Republic of Croatia, the supervisory authority is the Personal Data Protection Agency, with its registered office at: Marticeva ulica 14, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia, web: http://azop.hr/, tel.: +385 1 4609 000.
Note – when applying, identification of the applicant is required. The reason is the protection of the User, as the owner of personal data.

9. Entry into force and changes to the Privacy Policy:
This Privacy Policy comes into force and applies to all Users from 25.5.2018.
Amendments to this Policy may be possible. The current version is always available on the
www.egis.hr website and at the EGIS headquarters and at all points of sale on the motorway.
